Principle

MAY-4001 online density meter (also called online density transmitter) is a device for continuous online measurement of the concentration and density of liquids, which can be directly used in industrial production processes. The density meter uses advanced technology, including: a capacitive differential pressure sensor and a pair of pressure repeaters connected to it and inserted into the production process. There is a temperature sensor between the two pressure repeaters to compensate for the temperature change of the process liquid. The intelligent online density meter is a two-wire density transmitter, which is mainly used for industrial process control. The online density meter generates a corresponding 4-20mA signal according to the concentration and density. It can be remotely calibrated and monitored through digital communication as shown in Figure 1. It is mainly used in chemical urea, detergent, ethylene glycol, industrial ammonia, acid-base and polymer density testing. It can also be used in mining mud, brine, potash, lubricating oil, desulfurization slurry, biopharmaceutical and other industries.

Installation type

There are three types of intelligent online densitometers in structure design, namely top-mounted type and side-mounted type, and pipeline type installation. The top installation type is suitable for tank installation, and the side installation type is suitable for pipeline installation to meet the density measurement requirements under different working conditions.
